To create a number of exciting environments within Port Melbourne's Station Pier passenger terminal including a visual interpretation of the commencement of the underwater cable laying between Victoria and Tasmania.

Without rigging any equipment nor set from the ceiling an intriguing and atmospheric environment was created. Commencing at arrival, a laser and audioscape 'underwater tunnel' transported guests to pre-dinner cocktails within an exhibition showcase. Revealing the dinner location, white chiffons tab-tracked aside.

The highlight of the evening, during dinner, combined creative thinking with a dramatic use of lighting and effects to successfully simulate the cable connecting the two States.
